Klock Werks 9 Black FXRP Style Fairings
The Flip at the top of the Flare redirects air back as clean, less turbulent air for rider and passenger, rather than just blocking or pushing the air. This feature allows users to utilize the air to improve their riding experience. The Flare Windshield features "hips" at the sides that re-route the wind away from the rider while adding 15 lbs. of downforce to the front-end of the motorcycle, enhancing stability compared to riding with the stock windshield.
The Black Flare and the Dark Smoke Flare are both available in a 9-inch size, specifically designed to fit FXRP fairings (without the upper speaker pods), and will not fit FXRD or FXRT fairings. The "Black" color version is opaque and cannot be seen through, which may not be suitable for shorter riders.
Klock Werks has developed a variety of heights for many models to ensure riders can find a fit that works for them. In most cases, Klock Werks recommends choosing a Flare size that the rider can comfortably look over. The Flare is made from hard-coated polycarbonate for added strength and durability, and its trademark sleek styling complements the bike.
The Flare is designed for use with fairings that have a standard/stock bolt pattern. The "Flip" at the top of the Flare sends clean, less turbulent air to the rider and passenger, while the "Hips" re-route the air to add 15 lbs. of downforce and improve air stability.
